​Bluegrass Mountain Doodles is owned by the Prestons and located on a 50 acre farm in Eastern Kentucky. We are family-oriented breeders who take a hands-on approach to every aspect of puppy care. Our puppy parents are indoor/outdoor; they enjoy lying on the porch, cuddling on the couch, running around the farm, and, of course, getting treats!

We are able to socialize the puppies from a young age around small children and large groups. The idea for Bluegrass Mountain Doodles began with the addition of our first Standard Poodle. The calm, intelligent Poodle nature led us to learning about various Doodle breeds. After some research, we determined Bernedoodles are the perfect family companions with their gentle, loyal nature and low shedding traits. We adopted Zina, who prompted a love for Bernese Mountain dogs and led to the creation of Bluegrass Mountain Doodles.

For us here at BMD, these babies aren’t dogs. They are family members who bring us closer together and provide emotional comfort, happy moments, and lots of laughs. We are thrilled to be able to share the joy of Bernedoodle, Bernese Mountain dog, and Poodle adoption by blessing families all over the world with their newest perfect addition!
